The WordPress integration allows Niara to connect directly to your CMS. This connection eliminates the manual “copy and paste” process, ensuring that the SEO structure and formatting created within Niara’s Content Workflow are accurately transferred to your site.

How to Integrate WordPress with Niara

The setup can be managed centrally within your project settings:

1. Go to your Niara Project and select Project Settings from the left sidebar (gear icon).
2. Scroll down to “Integrations” and select the “Connect WordPress” option. The site URL will be automatically identified based on the project’s domain.
3. Make sure you are logged into WordPress with a user account that has an Editor or Administrator profile.
4. You will be redirected to your CMS. On the authorization screen, click “Yes, I approve this connection.”
5. After confirmation, you will return to Niara with the integration validated and ready to use.

Why Connect WordPress to Niara?

By integrating your CMS, you complete the content production cycle within a single platform, boosting operational speed and technical consistency. Now, through the Content Workflow, you can:

• Send articles directly to your WordPress drafts folder.
• Maintain tables, lists, bold text, links, images, and embedded videos during export. All formatting is sent to the CMS exactly as it appears in the Niara editor.
• Export automatically generated meta titles and meta descriptions into WordPress SEO fields, ensuring your optimized snippets aren’t lost in the process.
• Select the post author and category before the content even leaves Niara.

The connection also provides a secure review workflow. All content is exported as a Draft, allowing for a final review inside WordPress before official publication.

Security and Permissions

Niara uses the official WordPress API to communicate between platforms. To ensure a secure connection:

• Access Level: The connection requires “Editor” permissions or higher for WordPress to accept data via the API.
• Simple Syncing: Niara makes it easy to both create new drafts and update previously sent texts. If you make any adjustments in the Content Workflow, you can export to WordPress again to update the existing version seamlessly.
• You’re in Control: We do not make any automatic changes to your site. Data is only sent when you click “Export.” You decide what to publish and when.
• Privacy: Your access credentials are handled with encryption and are used exclusively to validate communication between your Niara project and your domain.
